The story

The Pleasantview bungalow came to us as a chopped-up post-war layout: a small kitchen at the back, a walled-off dining room, a living room facing the street, and one full bath untouched since the seventies.

We removed the wall between the kitchen and dining, added an island, refinished the original oak floors, and updated the bath and the mechanical. The main floor now reads as one continuous plan instead of four small rooms.

Same footprint. Twice the house.
